She is the creator/producer of :FACEing Mental Illness, a blog and podcast at faceingmi.substack.com that shares stories from people with lived mental health experience. ... A graduate of the Columbia University School of Journalism, Carrie was a reporter, critic and columnist for daily newspapers for 45 years.

Linda Billings on NASA Astrobiology Program.

Linda is a Ph.D. AAAS Fellow Consultant to NASA's Astrobiology and Near Earth Object Programs National Institute of Aerospace.

 Her research has focused on the role that journalists play in constructing the cultural authority of scientists, the rhetorical strategies that scientists and journalists employ in communicating about science, and the rhetoric of space exploration.


Linda is a Sarasota resident and a member of WIN.
